About Stevens Consulting Group Inc.


DC Stevens Consulting Group Inc., is based in Victoria, British Columbia. Our professional development company specializes in training on the best practices of business and management processes associated with all the phases of procurement management as well as organizational leadership and effectiveness.

Our courses include contract management planning and implementation, contract negotiations, preparing well-written requests for proposals as well as the proposal response to an RFP. Other areas of specialization include organizational leadership. We are associated with consultants with specific expertise in risk management, project management and contract law.

The principals of the company are Court Stevens and Irene Stevens.

Over 8,500 contract, program and project managers, consultants, general contractors and business managers from both the private and public sectors throughout Canada have participated in one or more of our training courses. Participant / client backgrounds have varied from health care, social services, education, construction, engineering, forestry, financial management and administration, professional associations and consulting, information technology and human resources.

Our instructors have very interactive presentation styles. The courses are fast paced and enjoyable. Participants are encouraged to participate in discussions and to look for creative solutions to improving management / business processes. The courses consistently receive high evaluations for presentation content, style and organization.


Project Management Institute Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.)

Stevens Consulting Group Inc. is a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) through the Project Management Institute. The PMI® Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) Program is designed to facilitate the ongoing professional development of PMI members, Project Management Professionals (PMP®), and other project management stakeholders by linking stakeholders and training coordinators with qualified providers and products.

  • Negotiating Effectively - A Guide to Creating Successful Negotiation Strategies (two days)
  • Organizational Leadership and Effectiveness - The Interrelationship of Individual and Organizational Leadership, Culture and Change (two days)
  • Modern Risk Management: Introduction, Tools and Techniques - This course will enable participants to advance their awareness of modern risk management concepts and tools. (two days)

Specific In-House Courses and Presentations

Our courses are also available in-house on a client-dedicated basis. Exercises / case studies can be tailored to client situations. These dedicated courses allow for organizations to reaffirm / establish departmental or organizational procedures in a team and project oriented environment.
