Instructor

Doug has an extensive background as a Project Manager, Business Builder and Business owner. He has worked as a Senior Manager in both the public and private sectors. He is an associate instructor with the BC Government's Procurement and Contract Management Program (PCMP) and also teaches Project Management throughout Canada and the USA .

Doug's background includes extensive contract management, both as a seller and as a buyer. His methodical and disciplined approach to large Procurement Projects has been developed in the real world of contracting in both a corporate and governmental environment. He has successfully managed a number of large construction projects, business development projects and cross-cultural projects.

He is a seasoned instructor and engages his audiences with humor and real world advice. Combining his business experience with his training skills, he has helped hundreds of individuals reach new levels of effectiveness and excellence. He is a graduate of the Banff School of Management; the McLaughlin Centre for Project Management and is a member of the Project Management Institute.
